From the sold out Royal Albert-Hall in London to the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, the critics have lavished him with choruses of praise and the sales figures of his CDs reached record highs. The pianist Ludovico Einaudi is a master of the art of seduction. With satisfying, clear etched tones he captures his listeners and ushers them into a sound cinema in their head, a world of dreams and shades of color. It’s not surprising, since some of his earliest success was as a film composer.
